Victoria Falls is the adventure capital of Africa and deciding what to do first is the happiest kind of problem. From helicopter flights over the thundering Falls to white-water rafting through the Batoka Gorge, scenic sunset cruises on the Zambezi, family game drives and cultural village visits, there is something here for every pace and every age. Wild Horizons has guided visitors through this corner of the world since 1981, and we are happy to help you shape a few days into the right mix of thrill, wildlife and rest.
For those who like their views earned, Victoria Falls delivers. Raft the Zambezi’s legendary rapids, glide through the gorge on the canopy tour, or step off the edge on the gorge swing and zipline.
The Falls sit within reach of some of Africa’s finest game. Cross into Botswana for a Chobe day trip and its famous elephant herds or watch the riverbanks come alive on a Zambezi game drive.
Slower-paced and no less memorable: scenic helicopter flights, sunset cruises, and a rainforest walk where the spray and rainbows delight every age.
Meet the people and stories behind the landscape through village visits, home-hosted meals and a guided tour of the Falls themselves.

A full-day Chobe safari from Victoria Falls or Livingstone: a morning game drive and an afternoon Chobe River cruise with lunch on board.

Embarking on a Chobe day trip offers an enriching and immersive experience in one of Africa's premier wildlife destinations.

The Zambezi Sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the Spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River.

Considered the best one day rafting experience in the world, the Zambezi River flowing down the Batoka Gorge provides one of the most intense sensory thrills imaginable.

A dinner cruise on the Zambezi River is a magical experience that combines gourmet dining with breathtaking scenery, creating an unforgettable evening on the water.

Fly over Victoria Falls on the legendary Flight of Angels. Choose 12, 25 or 30-minute scenic helicopter tours, departing daily near the Batoka Gorge.
The most popular experiences are the helicopter Flight of Angels, white-water rafting on the Zambezi, a sunset or dinner cruise, the canopy tour and zipline, a guided tour of the Falls and a Chobe day trip into Botswana. Most visitors combine two or three across a stay of a few days.
Scenic helicopter flights, Zambezi sunset cruises, relaxed game viewing and the rainforest walk suit all ages. Our Meet the People cultural tour is also a lovely addition, giving families a chance to connect with the local community and everyday village life. We are happy to tailor a family itinerary that balances excitement, wildlife, culture and downtime.
For the Falls at their most dramatic, visit from February to May when water levels peak. For clear views and the best conditions for rafting and helicopter flights, the drier months of August to October are ideal. Game viewing is excellent from June to October.
We recommend 3 to 5 nights to enjoy the Falls, add a couple of activities and still have time to relax at your lodge. This also leaves room for a Chobe day trip or game viewing in Zambezi National Park.
Yes. Chobe National Park in Botswana is a little over an hour and a half away and makes an outstanding full-day addition, with big elephant herds and a scenic boat safari on the Chobe River. Transfers and inclusions are all arranged.
We can. Wild Horizons runs the activities and the lodges, so we can package your stay and experiences into one seamless itinerary, including our Signature Special packages that bundle nights across two lodges with complimentary activities.
