Wild Horizons offers a portfolio of distinct places to stay in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe – from tented luxury overlooking the Batoka Gorge to riverfront suites on the Zambezi and a relaxed four-star stay in town. Each lodge sits in a different setting, so whether you are here for a first safari, a honeymoon or a family holiday, there is a Wild Horizons address that fits.
Victoria Falls has long been one of Africa’s most romantic places to visit, and it lends itself beautifully to a honeymoon. Many couples choose The Elephant Camp, where private tented suites look out over the bush, with the spray of the Falls rising in the distance. Our Honeymoon Special welcomes the partner at a reduced rate and adds a few thoughtful touches… a romantic turndown and a private dinner with sparkling wine. It’s a gentle, unhurried way to begin married life, in a setting you’ll both remember.
Every Wild Horizons lodge is a luxury stay in its own right, each with its own character. Think tented suites with private plunge pools above the Batoka Gorge, riverfront rooms on the edge of the Zambezi, and a refined retreat within a private wildlife concession. This is luxury safari accommodation with a genuine sense of place – comfort and service shaped around the wilderness around you, not set apart from it.
The right lodge depends on the trip you have in mind. For town life within walking distance of the Falls, restaurants and the rainforest, Waterfalls Lodge is the easy choice. For a riverfront safari with game drives and Zambezi cruises, Old Drift Lodge sits inside Zambezi National Park on the water’s edge. And for a true wilderness setting on the Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary, The Elephant Camp and The Wallow Lodge place you among the wildlife while keeping the Falls within easy reach. Many guests combine two – a few nights in the bush, a few by the river.
