Himal and Irene Nathoo’s remarkable journey in the hospitality industry has seen them evolve from Camp Managers at Imbabala Lodge to esteemed leadership roles at premier properties, including The Elephant Camp and now Old Drift Lodge. Irene, originally from the Netherlands, relocated to Victoria Falls in 2015 to join Himal, bringing a distinctive blend of forensic science expertise and hospitality management skills. Together, their extensive experience and shared passion for wildlife and the great outdoors make them the perfect custodians of Old Drift Lodge. Fenny Chitengu, a proud Victoria Falls native, discovered her passion for tourism and hospitality at a young age. While still in high school, she began gaining hands-on experience in various roles, building a solid foundation in the industry. After completing her studies, Fenny’s adventurous nature drew her to join the Old Drift Lodge team, where she flourishes in the breathtaking, wildlife-rich setting of the Zambezi River.
